This text explains the cases in which the data controller Ünlem Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. (the "Company") processes your personal data solely on the basis of your explicit consent. Your consent is not required for processing based on the grounds in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law, such as responding to your request or ensuring the security of the site; these are described in the KVKK Information Notice. We recommend that you read that text before giving consent.
Giving explicit consent is optional. Not giving consent does not affect the handling of your request, your ability to receive a quote, use the site or benefit from our products and services. Continuing to use the site does not count as consent.
Processing Based on Your Explicit Consent
1. Newsletter and commercial electronic messages
- Data to be processed: Your e-mail address and your consent record (whether you gave consent, date of consent)
- Purpose: Sending you, by e-mail, news about our products and services, legislative changes, announcements, campaigns and events
- Legal basis: Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "Law") Art. 5/1 — your explicit consent; for sending commercial electronic messages, additionally your approval under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce
- Where consent is obtained: The optional, unticked consent box in the newsletter form at the bottom of the page
- Retention period: Until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe
2. Analytics and marketing cookies
- Data to be processed: Online identifiers (cookie IDs), IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and page interactions, the advertisement or campaign through which you arrived on the site
- Purpose: Measuring and improving site usage (Analytics); measuring the results of advertising campaigns and forwarding the campaign information with your request (Marketing)
- Legal basis: Law Art. 5/1 — your explicit consent
- Where consent is obtained: The cookie notice; Analytics and Marketing are selected separately, and "Reject All" is available on the first screen. The names and durations of the cookies used are listed in the Cookie Policy.
- Retention period: The period stated for each cookie in the Cookie Policy; when you withdraw your consent, the cookies of the relevant category are deleted
3. Transfer abroad
If you consent to Analytics or Marketing cookies, the data collected through these cookies are transferred to the servers of Google LLC (USA), which provides Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. This transfer takes place only if you consent to the relevant category and is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the Law. If you do not give consent, no request is sent to Google.
Apart from those listed in this text, your personal data are not processed or transferred on the basis of your explicit consent. Transfers to legally authorized public institutions and organizations arising from legislation do not depend on your consent and are described in the KVKK Information Notice. If a new consent-based processing activity is started, this text will be updated in advance.
How to Withdraw Your Consent
You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time, without giving reasons and free of charge:
- Cookies: By switching off Analytics and/or Marketing via the "Cookie Preferences" button at the bottom of the page,
- Newsletter: Via the unsubscribe (opt-out) link included in every message sent to you,
- For each of them: By sending an e-mail with the subject "I withdraw my explicit consent" to [email protected], by writing to our KEP address ([email protected]) or by the other methods set out on the Data Subject Application Form page.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
